How To Block Pop-Ups
Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators turned out in New York on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 to voice opposition
to a possible U.S.-led war with Iraq. The scene was repeated in cities around the nation and the globe, and organizers estimated
that millions participated worldwide.
A large contingent of Yale students, including a rowdy and raucous group of FESers (Forestry & Environmental
Studies) and friends, jumped on the Peace Train and headed to New York. Along the way, the group broke into song...

Upon their arrival to Grand Central Station, the FESers and friends took to the streets and joined the multitudes
of other groups in their arrivals. Even though the City of New York had openly publicized that it would not allow a march,
the crowds took to the streets to spread the word: "No War...No War...",
"Drop Bush, Not Bombs" and "This War Is Going To
Fail, Kind Of Like Bush Did At Yale!"
